I'm about to buy a 52" Exmark turf tracer. I am considering putting mulching
blades on it but don't have any experience with them.
I don't like the idea of throwing grass in my customers gardens.
Are they worth it? The other items I'm not sure about is a "Striping roller" and
a two wheel sulky. I'm getting a 52 because I have a 36" metro (same blades)
Nothing written in stone yet but I am more familar with Exmark.

If you had the mulching kit with baffles it would do wonders. I have a lazer z with the mulch kit, and high lift gator mulcher magnum blades, they are superb. I can have boo koo leaves to rake up, nope, I spread them around and mow over them, you can't even tell there were leaves. The high lift blades help it situtations where grass has been laid over due to wind and rain. The mulching makes a huge difference, side disharge is handy for tall thick grass, but on normal everyday basis of mowing, mulching is the best. Since exmark is a popular brand, they have many brands out there for blades. I have Oregon. They have a few to choose from that very for what application.

I run an Exmark Lazer with a 66" deck. I only mulch; never bag or side discharge. I get excellent results. If the grass is too high I overlap more or double-cut problem areas. Overall, most of the season, a single pass at the right mowing height does fine.

I have the blade blocker from trimmer trap on my 48" Metro. Works great. I wouldn't run a mower without one.

Yesterday I purchased (Columbus, OH) a New Exmark 52" Turf Tracer, Electric
start, adjustable height deck, Mulching Kit, Stripper, and Two wheel sulky.
$7200 including tax. I have some properties with hills and don't like using
my kabota (ZD28) zero turn on them. Bottom of hill is Lake. I had some scary
close calls last year so I used a Metro 36".
The new Turf Tracer should cut an
hour off one property and reduce time at others. This will be my first Hydro
walk behind.
