Hey guys,

Dont flame me too much, I am just a home owner looking for a poly 1/4 combination tee. Pretty much like this http://www.sprinklerwarehouse.com/1403-005-Combination-Insert-Tee-1-2-p/1403-005.htm. I've been to Home Depot and Lowes and nothing...Looked on Sprinklerwarehouse.com and they only have 1/2. Someone ran over my sprinkler head in my mulchbed.

I only need 1!!!! Help.

I've never seen a 1/4" fitting like that.
What the heck kind of sprinkler head would run off of 1/4" anyway?! A 2" radius head?

Use Duck Tape

If you have a "head" that runs off of 1/4" tube, it will probably be taking spaghetti line, and not a threaded end, certainly not at 1/4". How about a picture.

This is the closest to your tee that you can get.

Actually, I think it is 1/2 inch but the part I have is black and smaller in measurement then the grey one I've seen that is 1/2 inch.

See attachment, sprinkler head just screwed on top.

Not a common item - you might need to make it from more than one fitting. Use what you can get, and don't obsess over obscurities.

Hit the box stores; I've never seen, or wanted to see, a fitting like that.

I discovered that Firefox is not displaying pics for me. Got it now in Chrome.

no one except the bottom feeders makes a swing pipe tee with a 1/2" threaded m.p.t. outlet.

Just go back with the same thing. You might need some extra pipe and barb couplings

You could order online or call a store and theyd prob do it for you for list price plus taxes, shipping, handling, surcharge etc.... Odd and wrong to have funny pipe running as a lateral, thus hard to find part.

Use an all-barb tee and a barb x MPT elbow, plus a bit of pipe

Yeah, but the local big-box sprinkler department might be staffed by Phish fans, so who knows what's in stock.

My local hardware store carries those. Just drive around to the hardware stores until you find what you need.

Good chance he will find it at the first place he stops. Popular fitting for people who run the black soaker hose crap off of their irrigation system.

So it's a hose fitting rather than m.p.t?

Try looking in an auto parts store (vacuum line fitting) or Ace Hardware. It might not be in the sprinkler parts, but rather under other plumbing fittings. You might find it in brass rather than plastic.

Try this one. That fitting is used in RV water supply lines.

1/2 Barb run 3/8 MPT fitting (https://www.rvpartsdealer.com/p-74956-12-barb-run-x-38-mpt-tee.aspx)

Not MHT ... what I have seen people do is cut the soaker hose and then clamp it onto the barbed fitting. Needless to say, doesn't last long.

I've seen and probably have both MPT and FPT somewhere in my stock. Netafim makes a 3/4" FPT one that I use off of a SCH80 riser to feed my grids. Another place you would find fittings like that is a store that carries aquarium stuff.

A long way to go to repair a crap install.
