Quoted a price of $3500 for Toro WB, 52", 17 hp, belt driven, with a bagger. Is it a good deal?

Is it brand new? If it is I think ists a good price. If its older let usknow the condition so we have a better idea.

Dave,
I picked up a 48" Tbar Toro belt drive with a 15hp kohler for $2599 a few months ago over here in tax free NH. Savilles outdoor power equipment in Buffalo was selling them for $2350 in the crate. Sounds like a good deal to me considering you get the bagger included.

is that the new style toros with vertical pins or the horizontal pins for the deck height. Toro came back out with the older style after disappointments with the vertical pin. I got qoted $3750 before bag for that exact machine so i would take it.

i got a 48" bunton hydro with 14hp
i told my dealer i needed more power, and out comes kohler 18hp twin cylinder on it. Where there is a will, there is a way. It was the best money i spent on a mowing, next to the actually body.

The TORO wb I bought last week is a Tbar, Hydro, 36", sfs w/ 15 Kohler. I paid $3800 - tax included

I made a prior deal on a Toro 52" w/ KAW 17hp for $3772 (also with tax included)

I decided that I'd rather have a Hydro drive, and settled for a smaller deck. It is far more manueverable, thus it will be just as productive as the 52. It is also easier to park on a crowded trailer.

Pay $3000 here in Chicago.

And they have PLENTY of power. They used to make that machine with 11hp for pities sake, then 12.5 (which worked decent.) Then 14, 15 and now 17. Plenty of power for even thick, wet grass.
