old toros are back

my dealer informed me today that since toro got so many complaints over their newly designed walkbehinds with the vertical pin height adjustment, they are restocking the old type walkbehinds both hydro and gear with different engine options. The new 52's have the same offset deck and weight balance and are much better. I will be getting the older style hydro soon, just wanted to tell you guys the news that the good ole toros are back. They are still using the big 5bu bag as well.

I thought the newer PIN deck adjusters were better.

What is it that people don't like about them? Any thing else that people complain about on the new design?

I just bought a SFS deck, and well, I like it ( I have had the old style as well)

wonder if this will effect stones decision to get a walker

the new style has a bad weight distribution i heard and the hydros are more jumpy. Also the wheels tend to slide when breaking with the new design. My dealer said the vertical pins are easier but "toro hasn't gotten it quite right yet"
