I bought a new one on ebay last fall for $700. He even delivered it for free .It works great except it doesn't have the agitator...wish it did.

Any suggestion for using a melter without a trailer? Safely...

Does this slow you down? How long does it take to melt? Can you overheat the stuff and if so what happen?

Does this slow you down? Yes, more so than cold filler, and not really useful for driveways, we use ours for parking lots, not driveways How long does it take to melt? 20-30 Can you overheat the stuff and if so what happen?FIRE

I am debating wether or not to get a melter and use it for residential. I am not losing any jobs but it a better product and a selling point. Price, time, and driving around with a trailer are a couple of draw backs...
