LOL It really isnt that heavy and i dont have weightlifter arms. I like it i bought it 2 or 3 years ago and its treated me well. It still starts up really easy. The only shindaiwa i have ever tried is a string trimmer. I liked it but ended up going with redmax.

Well so far this year is going pretty well. I have done no advertising what so ever and somehow by word of mouth i got to put 5 bids on commercial accounts. One of them is through an HOA and one is a hospital and 3 others are office buildings. This is a great opportunity for me to finally dip my toes in the commercial side of mowing. Right now i do around 80 residential yards and 3 industrial lots. Even if i dont land these bids at least i am starting to get my name out there.

Man the low ballers are hittin my area hard. I got a few phone calls one in particular asking me if i can drop my prices because they got a bid for cheaper then what i charge. I asked them what is the other lco going to charge he said $15 a cut.(I charge $25) Well i told him i couldnt match it and i told him i would go down to $22 a cut and thats the lowest i would go. Well he dropped me right there. I have been cutting this yard and the neighbors for 5 years. luckily i still have the neighbors and i cant wait to see this other lco and see what kind of a job they do. This is the first year that i am loosing some customers because of low ballers. It def is pissing me off because i have been cuttin some of these yards for the past 4-5 years and they all say that my service is great its just they found another company that will do it for cheaper.

Well it was a good weekend nice and sunny. Friday went extremely well i ended up getting a call from a HOA that i placed a bid over 2 months ago that i thought i didnt get the job because a.)she said i was the highest bid and b.) well its been two months but none the less they signed a year contract, its my biggest yet. They signed over the weekend and we start on Monday. The third pic is one of the houses i cut for he has black stains on the sidewalk and he said someone told him it was mold? So if anyone knows what it could be please let me know. The rest of the pic are just some stripes let me know what ya think. Everything is cut at 1.5" inches sometimes 2" if your wondering.

Looks like you do good work! I am cutting my first 2 residentials tomorrow. I had to mow 1.5 acres @ my house today with my 22 inch craftsman self propelled mower that I only use to trim my place. My yard is still way to wet for my scag ztr. The yard was getting out of control so I had to do something. I still have 1.5 acres in the back that need cutting. The 2 tomorrow should be ready go to. It is getting old.

Good luck with the season.

1.5" acres with a pushmower:hammerhead: Dang son i bet you got some exercise. Things are pretty dry over here well on 95% of them.

[QUOTE=nnj18;2968628]why are you cutting so short? I wont cut below 3"[/QUOTE

90% of the them are cut at 1.5" because people will ***** if its any longer. I cut one dudes yard twice a week at 1.5". I like cutting at 2.5 but i do what makes them happy.
