I have 26X12X12 Multitrac tires on my Ferris 5100z and am looking(unsuccessfully) for a slightly more aggressive tire. The multitracs load up too quickly and don't hold well on hills. The property I mow is not all residential lawn, more like 5" athletic fields so I can handle a more aggresive tread without too much marking. Does anyone know of a suitable tire in that size? A paddle tire would be nice or a more aggressive tread than the Multitracs.

Google ATV tires or start looking at www.bikebandit.com. Very aggresive 26-12-12 are available and they ship fast.

What condition are your multitracs? That's what I need if they're 4 ply.

The 26X12X12 Multitracs on my mower are 4ply and have 30 hrs on them. Unfortunately I can't find anything in between lawn tire and ATV aggressive tire in that size. The Fieldtracs look to have about the right tread but are only offered in two ply-a little light for a 2200Lb machine.

I have the AT101's and they are an agressive v pattern tyre. They don't mark too bad unless it is really soft then they leave a v pattern otherwise they are pretty good as long as you slow down for the turns. The grip they give over multitracs is great. I actually bought a second set of rims so I can swap between them easily in a few minutes.
