Overseeding question

One of my customers wanted me to dethatch there yard and over seed it. Is it a good idea to overseed right after dethatching. Also stupid question should it be over a certain tempature before you overseed????Also how do you charge to overseed a yard the yard is about an acre??? thanks for any help....

Yes, in fact it is the best time to seed, aerate, and compost top dress as well.

All seeds have different germination temperature requirements and percent germination varies with soil temp. You need to get the appropriate information for the type of seed you are using.
