I answered my own question in another post about Scepter gas Cans. Does anyone use Sceptor gas cans?
The cans are great - I love 'em. Best all around can that I've found for durability, etc. We've tried Type II safety cans down to the generic ones at Wall Mart. Like these the best.
So here is the website for anyone who is interested in knowing more about them. Buying directly from them is inexpensive (assuming you buy enough quantity to make up for freight). 2.5 gal cans are about $4.50 a piece (I was paying $12 locally), 5 gal are about $6.25 each.
Replacement parts are inexpensive too, which is what I couldn't find locally before. Replacement vent, screw cap and stopper and funnel is $1.82. Replacement stoppers (which we loose all too often) are only $.15 each.
If you're not happy with your current cans - or have mismatched ones here and there, check these out. We really like the 2.5 gal size.
