Anyone have anything negative to say about the walker dethatcher? How much did it run you at your walker dealer?

The dethatcher works good for matted down grass and leaves during spring cleanups , it helps to loosen everything up. A dedicated dethatcher works much better for heavy thatch. Overall for the price around $200-$250 it is well worth it for spring cleanups.

I have one, as well. I tend to agree on the heavy thatch. For me, at $200, I just run over thicker areas twice(second time at a 90 degree angle). Nice thing with the Walker attachment is you can bag as you go. Makes for a much quicker job.

I love it, especially compared to the JRCO dethatcher. Slides right on and off, does a great job, and only cost $195
