Ya i have been following it for some time now i ahve a 2001 2500 V10 and am very excited about the new 2500 and 3500 the truck looks sick and is the next big thing, by the way have you heard about the engines, the diesel is more powerful than the new duramax and the new v8 is going to put everything to shame, if you want more info go to snowest.com and go to the forums section there they have a couple pages on this new beast, can't wait to get my hands on one.

To bad i am buying that new 1500 RAM SRT with the new 8.3 V10 viper engine in it, check that out for a real sport truck, supposibly will smoke the lightning! Can't wait:blob2:

sat in one at the chicago auto show. BAD ass truck. A little bit of a difference from last year, but not too much. Not sure how I feel about the interior. I still would give my soul for a new GMC 3500 4X4 w/a Duramax.

It's about time Dodge offered a quad cab.

Here are some more pictures of it, http://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=35412.The Cummins powered Dodge has always been easy to work on ,its now a tight fit, thats the biggest downside to me.Finally a 3500 SRW quad cab short box is offered, the 305hp/555 ft lb Cummins should run great right from the factory.no need to spend 500 on a box to get it to run like the wind.

dodge offers a quad can now, it's just smaller doors than the fords or chevys, the cab is only 6" larger than the extended cab.

Let me rephrase that, I meant to say crew cab.

From the dodge website

http://www.dodge.com/autoshow/news_events/ram_hd/powertrain/powertrain_cummins.html

Delivering 555 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,400 rpm and 305 horsepower at 2,900 rpm, the new 5.9-liter High Output Cummins Turbo Diesel is the most powerful turbo diesel engine available in the 2500/3500 market. The new High Output Cummins Turbo Diesel also delivers a class-leading trailer towing rating of 23,000 lbs. (Gross Combined Weight Rating).

this should be a beast, but I think it will be going thru trannys and clutches because it only come that I can find with a 6 speed manual.

Uglier body style, cheap looking interior, engine bay 2 sizes too small...

I'm glad I got my 2000 when I did.

The only other vehicle I ever owned that was easier to change the oil and filter on was a 1966 Mustang with a six cyclinder!
