I have a toro belt driven walk behind with t-bar controls.
My belts have been slipping more and more lately and wearingdown even quicker.
Is it possible to switch it out to become a Hydro mower?
If yes, how much would it cost and how would i go about doing it?

No, this is not feasible, from a mechanical or economical standpoint.

I think you would end up spending more money switching it over that you could get selling it and buying a hydro mower...
Just my $.02...

There is a company, www.surpluscenter.com that sells hydraulic parts. They are much cheaper than anyone else on their pumps and motors. But I too think if you tried this, it would end up costing you more than if you were to just buy a used hydro mower, besides the pumps and motors, you would have to modify the mower for all the new controls and linkage that go with a hydro system, which would be an incredible amount of fabrication and chances are it would probably not work as well unless you are a mechanical engineer?
