Ok so i have a huge pond i have to trim around. the mower just doesnt get close enough to the pond but i was wondering is there a better way. I just use a FS90 and trim around the pond it takes about 2 hours. I was just looking for a faster way.

Would using a 21" work? You could also try getting one of those wheeled trimmers, but I don't know if they make those for commercial use.

even a smaller mower wont work cause the wheel will go into the pond

A faster way would be to have 2 guys doing it. :D

You already answered your question. It sounds obvious that nothing else will work besides the trimmer.

Simple - get a hover mower. That way you can mow right up too and over the water.
Until the unit runs out of gas then you'd better pull it back pretty quickly.
Do a web search for either Allen brand or Husquvarna brand hover mowers.

One of those high torque Echo units with the guard off will reduce the trim time. That would be a lot faster than using a 21" unit since the cord is longer than 21".

Just kill the grass and put rock around it...
