The Mowers?

Just wondering how you guys keep the bottom of your mowers clear and clean. currently i am using cooking spray and silicon spray is this the right way or am i going about it all wrong? i heard some people use wax or is that just for the top of the mower? Any ideas and/or feed back is much apprceated
