PJ,

I have a 36" trimstar that is still under warrenty, it is almost 2 years old, and has about 300 hours on it. It does not seem to have power as it tries to go up hills. Could the belts be bad, they do not look like it, and is it normal for them to go out in this time period and with this amount of hours. Also is it covered by warrenty.

Thanks,
Jeff

Do you have a hydro or a belt drive TrimStar?
Regardless the belts can be adjusted and I am sure that is likely your problem, a loose belt will do exactly what your explaining.
They would not be under warranty, belts carry a 90 day warranty, they are a wear item.
