Just checking out help wanted ads to see how many ads for lawn related positions and what everyones paying.

There was an ad for a lawncare/landscape worker neeed. "Must have own weed wacker" it said. LOL!

That's new to me. I know other trades (mechanics, carpenters, etc.) often require you to have your own tools, but have never seen a lawn company requiring you BYOWW (Bring Your Own Weed Wacker). :laugh:

Your hourly rate would have to be negotiated up about $6 per hour for supplying your own equipment.

What kind of an operation is this company? I would pass on it if I was looking...his mowers are probably in need of replacement soon if he cant afford $300.

he will probably hire people as sub contractors. As long as you use your own equipment and you use your own transportation to and from job site you can be considered a sub-contractor
