Here are the current pics of my cab change. I just need to intermesh the electronics. The fuel system and tail lights as well as some ignition things need to be buttoned up but it coming out pretty good. A new bump and paint job are on order. Thanks for looking..

Consider it pure joy my brothers when you face trials of many kinds.

The cabs on the old F-Superduty trucks do take a beating with the twisting etc.

They are good old trucks.

Have to made sure the diesel radiator will fit the F-150 rad support ?

Haha, yeah my 89 F Super Duty has f250 fenders on it, it does cause some confusion. Looks good. How bad was the old cab? I always thougth about doing that to mine and slappin a turbo on the old IDI, but just seemed like an awful lot of work, especially on my rust free cab.

It was a fun project. The top was literally separated from the botom. The cabs face a lot of forces. This had to happen though. As fars as the badges go, I planned on slapping the old F-Superduty ones on after the paint job. I'm about two weeks away off and on. See, the F-150 was an automatic gasser and my superis a manual diesel so we are still getting some wire connections together PITA!!!!!! I have all interior and lighting but no diesel ignition yet.

Lots of work.:) I like that body style, it's getting to be a 'classic' now.

You know what, you two are right, all the other stuff is going in there preceded by monthly truck payments. What are your monthly terms? I have none.....

Painted and ready for battle. New urethane paint job. All the wiring done. This is one of the heaviest F-150s out there.:weightlifter:

Got a little over spray there

I would put the recreational Ford mirrors on the truck. If your backing up alot you need good mirrors those little ones don't cut it.

The old F-Superduty trucks are tough on cabs I think I meantioned it before. With the frame and suspension so stiff it twists the cab apart they are tough trucks. If they had larger brakes it would be better.
