parking brake

Why don't exmark walk-behinds have a parking brake? I've had other mowers with them but the 2 turf tracers I bought last year don't. These mowers roll around inside my trailer and and break things.

Thanks for the question. All 2002 Exmark hydro walk-behinds will have a standard park brake. We decided to make the change because of concerned customers, like yourself, who said they need a park brake on the hydros. ;)

We do have a park brake available for older Viking Hydro's and Turf Tracer HP's. The part number is 1-411500, and it should cost around $100. We do not have a kit available for older Turf Tracers.

If your units are Turf Tracer HP's, instead of Turf Tracers, you can still get the park brake kit to keep your mowers from rolling around on the trailer and breaking things. If you have any other questions, feel free to create another post.
