I love Stihl. Not pictured is a hl100 hedge trimmer.

Believe it or not ,according to the date on the receipt, the BR420 and the FC75 were purchased over two years before that picture was taken. It all looks about the same today also. I really like stihl they have yet, knock on wood, to give me any problems and they perform great everyday. Also they stay looking almost new forever. That also may be in part to only my dad and I using them though.

I don't have the receipt on hand for the fs100rx at hand but I believe it's about a year old in that picture.

Has anybody else had the throttle cord on their br series blower saw through over time the little hook that holds it close to the tube? In the picture you can kind of see it. It's right on the brass thing.

I have goten this stuff from a couple different places, but the amount that I buy is nothing compared to what some of the other crews get. But, when I need parts I know dealer that has them, instead of driving everywhere in town it is a one stop shop.

A lot of people do not do this, but you are supposed to loosen the chain when you are through with it. It tends to keep the chain from stretching too much and causing the links to weaken.
