I would never buy a hursqvarna, i would buy a stihl hand held, they are decently priced and have alot of power. Or look into the smaller stihl backpack blower

I do not have any experience with husqvarna, so I can not speak on the make/model of the blower. I do less than 20 lawns per week and use an Echo hand held, which I love. Mine is from a lawn/landscape type equipment retailer, but I think Home Depot sells the Echo line. I also have an echo trimmer and hedge trimmer. I have no complaints with the Echo brand. I think that the hand held blowers are much more convenient for only doing a few residential lawns. The backpacks are fantastic for large areas but can be cumbersome for smaller accounts.

Just my $.02

I know Home Depot has a good return policy, so if it sucks just take it back....!

I have a husqvarna 145bt I use as a back up blower when I don't want to get the big echo off the trailer. It's great for blowing grass off walks and driveways. If you're going to do leaf cleanups in the fall, it will work but just is not strong enough for heavy duty fall cleanups.

I would rather have a good STIHL handheld than that. But Husqvarna make solid equipment in general, im not sure how it will hold up in a commercial environment.

I don't know about that model. But i would look at what you are going to have to blow with it. I would look into buying a medium size Redmax or an Echo. Good luck.

I believe thats the 150bt i think. Youll be happy with it but in all reality its 299 plus tax when you could get a kaw 750b for 450$ I am very happy with all of my husky stuff so i would say go ahead and that blower will have plenty of blowing ablitty. And theres Alot of tree company and loggers that would pick husky over stihl everyday.

As a small opperator, you have to be more efficient and having an effective blower is part of it. I would buy a big blower first and get a smaller one later if needed. Not the other way around. :nono:
If cost is a problem (it is always an issue) get a Poulan-pro handheld blower/vacuum at Wall-Mart and had an Echo metal blade on the impeller to mulch leaves without damaging it (when used as a vacuum).
It is more powerful than most big brand small backpack blowers and will cost you less than $100 (plus a few bucks for the blade). :weightlifter:
If cost is not a problem, get a Shindaiwa EB-802 at $449.00 from Russo Power Equipment and enjoy one of the best blower on the market today. :cool2:
