After years of drought I'm thinking of going "old style" and using wb's more. Even "compact" ZTRs take their toll on turf, especially on slopes. I see there is a new design of the trimstar coming out soon (May, hopefully).

I have a question on the 48" deck. Does it have an antiscalp wheel out on the trim side(s) like Exmark Turf Tracer HPs' or is it going to again not have them on the 48" deck? I unfortunately can't use one w/o them as I cut at low heights on undulating terrain and it really helps to contour the cut.

Also any idea of a MSRP on that mower?

Here is a pic of the 54" unit, I believe the 48" unit to be the same in regards to scalp wheels, but I will have to find out for sure.
MSRP on the 48" unit will be $5,899.00 and that is for a recoil start 17hp Kawasaki Kai series unit.

Any photos available yet of the 48" trimstar ('09) and any idea when they'll be available to purchase?

I don't have any more pics as of today, but I am going to find out if there any out there.
We are producing some models here next week and all models will be in production by the end of next month.
Give it a couple weeks to get in the distribution and dealer network and you will see them soon.
