I have a number of installed Saturn fixtures and am now getting complaints about the tops blowing off. In looking at them, there is no deforming of the top...they just have a very "loose fit". I've replaced the gaskets, but they are still very loose...so I have resorted to putting a dab of silicone sealant in the top. This seems to help, but I certainly don't want to consider this to be a long term fix.
Have any of you dealt with this problem and what did you do to get a fix?

Larry,
If we have sent you other Gasjkets and you are still haveing the issue we could try and swap out the entire hats and collars. Its possible that the brass collars or hats you have are out of tolerance somehow? Maybe weather related or just an off run of tops?

Ive had that problem with the three ive tried and the one in my demo kit. I do not like it, and have just stopped using the fixture. Ill stick to the lancer and mercury. Looks better as well.

Hey Joey, I mentioned this over on the LITE forum. Wouldn't it be prudent to just have all pathlights have the screwed in rubber gaskets? Just asking because it seems to be a universal problem inherent particularly to the Saturn.
