OK, had to jump on this one. This was a craigslist find. I ws looking into getting a new eXmark 48" metro 15hp kawi this year. I already have one, but I could use a second one. So, I priced one out....almost $3,600 after tax. I bought mine 2 years ago and it cost me $2,850.....? Anyway, I stumbled on this and it was a no brainer. 2003 eXmark Metro 48" 15hp Kawi with ECS and aftermarket 2 wheel sulky for $1000. As you can see in the first pic it needed some attention. Flat tire, needs a powerwash badly, oil and lube.

and the whole fleet.....

In the end, I walked away with the mower for $900. It was residentially used. We popped the tire back on the bead, all belts are like new, no smoke, no noises. I'm selling the stupid sulky and putting a proslide on it.

Nice deal, I am also watching Craigslist for a deal, I need a 36" for gates. I found a 48" Ferris belt drive for $450, it needed carb cleaned and serviced ($94) and the neutral thumb locks ($17) I installed myself, I have under $600 in it, I am starting on a budget and love to see there are deals if u look hard enough! Nice Exmark man!

Hell of a deal, I remember I got a 36 exmark wb off ebay for 650 with the 15 horse kohler, all I put into it was a 4 dollar tube of gasket maker and mulch kit, and it was a good mower.

Yea, I will post a link to the thread.

how does the belt drive handle a proslide?
I've never had a problem with it. The proslide is really light and has alot less drag on the machine. I know I am eating up the trans. but thats a quick $200 fix. I don't see a reason to go hydro.

That's the JRCO mount. I have the tine rake dethatcher that we use for spring cleanups. I keep it on all year because it doesn't bother me, it's one less thing to do and the extra weight helps to keep the front wheels on the ground when you are in 5th and on the proslide.
