I can spread stuff with my walk behinde spreader I also have a 5 gallon sprayer that I would like to use some kind of liquid around the house foundation on the outside to repel anything from getting into the house after treating outside
Does any that make sense ? if not lead me to the right direction please :usflag:

Killing bugs 'aint like killin' weeds. You need to know which bugs are affected by what stuff at what part of their life cycle. Hire a licensed, local, PROFESSIONAL. He has Studied & Trained to know what to use and when. It's time to take this seriously, Chemicals in the hands of homeowner's & lawn maint. operator's w/no experience, are giving Professional Pesticide Applicator's a bad name.... You keep it up, spraying and spreading these potentially toxic chemicals all over the place, and watch...They're gonna get banned. Then what are you going to USE ! Nothing, not even a Licensed Trained Pro. And I think all these Chem. supply houses should stop trading with unlicensed individuals, I mean how many of them even have the right PPG or the knowledge to be handling this stuff. And that's the truth.
I mean do we let our children play....with loaded guns ?

I'm just sayin' as a certified pesticide applicator, we're takin' heat all over the place from the Greenpeace types, and to a degree they are right, 'cause people have been putting chemicals down just because it's a way of life for them. And what do they do with the rinsate from cleaning the equipment, pour it down the drain, the Storm sewer? What about putting the right stuff on the wrong bug? I mean man it's getting where a farmer can't even spread manure. You know what I mean? They don't think what we do to keep our Certification. The continuing education, the inventories, records, spill control. Not to mention Personal Protective Gear.
I say save the environment, hire someone who knows what they're doing, and will get it right without over kill.
I'm a groundskeeper, I don't do this for Hire, so don't think I'm concerned about the money. I just don't want to see pesticide's banned because too many people use them irresponsibly.
Think Canada

Do you currently have a bug problem or are you trying to prevent them?
If you are trying to get rid of them you need to find out where they are coming in and fix it. A house is really an uninviting place for an insect unless they have food. Take away their food and you will not have bugs.

I am trying to prevent last year the yard looked like it was under invation of gypsy moth ( the township sent out letters warning about it before hand and they sprayed by planes a couple of times )
so I wanna try to prevent them from comping back this year I seen some stuff that can be spread around the property that prevents them from coming across ?

Not sure about gypsy moths, but I would think they may run in cycles and there really wouldn't be much you can do about them.

Try wrapping wide double face tape around the trunks of the trees you like, about 4 ft. up. they get stuck crawling on it and can't get in the canopy.
I apologize if I came off Rude, wasn't my intention. Been up all night, literally. Trouble with my son's computer, and the Indian's @ Dell had me up all night, restoring everything, then had to come to work & now they are going to call at 5:30 to finish loading all the Drivers. Haven't slept since 4:30 yesterday morning.
Guess I'm a bit off today, Sorry.
