I have a quick question . . .

While I have a quantity of experience with excavation and grading; I usually don't have any control of the business-end.

I have 8500 sq/ft property that needs a 5"cut (130+/-yds) and a 5" loam fill for a lawn renovation.

I have the use of a Bobcat and 10 wheeler for moving dirt and grading.

After cut, fill, rake, seed, roll, fert & mulch. . . What might be a high and low range estimate for the job?

Any help is appreciated.

Doing something to loosen up the soil after you are done packing it down with heavy equipment should be added into your bid. If not, then any bid is too high...

You need to feel out the customer to see how much they are willing to spend. But do it without asking them.

I also base my bidding off of Access, how far away the dump/borrow areas are, and if the customers are PITA's.

If this were me (I do these jobs almost everyday) You are in the $8 to 10000 range.
