I know guys your size running Hustler's everyday.
Stick with the Hustler Z series or Super Z series with the pumps and wheel motors.
What is your budget? what size deck are you looking for?

hello Pj, and thanks for replying, I could easily handle a 50 on up size deck, I dont have anything that I have to squeeze in between. I guess, my main concern was the pumps etc, that you mentioned, if I was to be too hard on them. as far as my budget is concerned this would be just for my own property with about 3 ac m/l...Im on disabilty, and could handle payments of about 50 to 80 a month, with possibly 1000 dn, any info you or any other members on some "creative" financing would be appreciated. Please dont laugh, but Im currently using an 8 hp JD with a 30" deck, and she's a tough lil gadget LOL.. Thanks ...Gunner

You can go with the Hustler Z series, they have separate pumps and wheel motors.
Deck sizes of 54" and 60" would suit your needs well.
Check with your local Hustler dealer for all your options in regards to financing, we offer several through partners we use in financing and your dealer likely has some additional that they use locally also.

hello grasshopper, thanks for the 411, however, have you had to do anything different to the control levers?? when i went and sat in a hustler z, the levers come up and poke me in the sides, i cant close them completely. they look like I could do some creative stuff to them, but i dont want to ruin the warranty stuff on it...I did have the pleasure of watching a friend of mine buy one and watched him knock out 3 1/2 acres in, what I call "record time", LOL I couldnt beleive it. I gonna have to save my pennies up for a good d/p, Im thinkin by next spring I'll be adopted in the hustler family..if PJ will have me LOL thanks again big guy.... gunner :weightlifter:

The control levers have 2 different settings you can put them in and they can also be adjusted forward or backwards.
If that isn't enough we have extensions also.
I am a pretty good size guy and I can get it to fit me fine.

Im hoping thats all I will need to do is just move them to different holes etc...I went and took my measuring tape, and it appears that I need them to be raised at least 4 inches up, and approximately 5 inches forward, however I forgot to compensate for the reverse LOl ( can you tell Im a green horn?? ) if I remember right it seems all I need is 2 inches of pull back for reverse. anyways Pj mentioned that they have attachments, that way I wont need to cobble anything up. Thanks for the input...Pj better get the adoption papers ready for next spring LOL Y'all becareful out there... :usflag:
