I have a strange patch of white in my yard that is super hard. I had to pry part of it up with the edge of a rake today. Below the hard white crust is kinda wet and sandy with THICK roots. Someone please help me identify and cure this.

Yep, it does kinda resemble the look of a paint pan being washed out.

We had some trees took out a few years ago, long story short the tree service had a bobcat which ended up springing a hydraulic leak and they parked the dam thing in my yard leaking :nono:

Very unprofessional group of dummies I must say because we also had to file a small claims court because one of the trees they cut they let fall on the house and damaged the gutter guard rain gutters and they wanted to go down to home depot and by $30 aluminum gutter to fix it :hammerhead:

Anyhow, took me having to dig up all the soil in the yard and throwing it out where the bobcat leaked to get new grass to grow and now that I think about it, the new soil, time and seed should have been added to the claim.

If your in Bowling Green, Kentucky or surrounding area's avoid Darryl's Tree Service.
