everythings looking great, i dint know you did the cruiseport that place looks awsome, i see wolf hill plowing it so i figured they did the landscaping. Good thing youre busy , we are also getting many calls we are booked till about the 20th of May its pritty awsome, i figured this year was going to suck, but i guess not! How many guys do you have working for you? Do you still mow with the crew every week or let then go solo? We only have about 40 lawns a week to cut , im hoping once we get to about 70-80 ill let them go solo, but i still role out with them every week. See you around, cant wait to see the 550 decaled , that things a beast!

Hey porter thanks for the compliments. We are now the property maintence service at cruiseport and a few other properties they own. Yes Bill down at SEaside did a great jb on the website. Costs somewhere around $500.00 with a monthly hosting fee.
Hey josh from ipswich we dont really do much advertising mostly word of mouth and referrals. I network with other trades and we help each other out.

ya i might think about doing a web site. We did the same roses today tons of them i had 3 guys on hedgers, it was loud , lol. I hate picking up all the pieces that fall down in them though, they are so sharp. We get most of our calls and new biz from word of mouth too, i have one add up in the shamrock pages, i get a few calls but not tons. I have a few flyers up here and there i put them in all 3 trucks and tell who ever is in them just to tack them up where ever they might be just to pic up a few jobs here and there, cant hurt. We are really really busy also, every friken day i get home i have another 3-4 jobs, we are booked well into june know, just picked up a 40 YRD mulch job last night!

you need to use double the amount of rocks on that "walkway"...theres no way you're stepping to each one with ease...

walls
04-19-2009, 06:52 PM
it is all suppose to look natural like it wasnt put there. thats what the customer wants. he has it all drawn out. some rocks in different spots on the property are already there and we are working with them. lots of ledge here. these pics are not the finished pics. this is work in progress. all the stone you see is from the property. we are not buying this stuff, we are working with what we have.
if we did have these stones closer we wouldnt have enough for what we are doing. ya it would have looked better and maybe easier to walk up but its not that bad and it really doesnt get used that much. more for the eye from the patio, breaks up the lawn. you will see in later pics that earlier work we did on the property a few years ago he had us place huge boulders scattered on the main lawn. five stones representing the five kids, each one supposably has a story behind it.
