Hustler Super Z light kit installation question

I went to add my light kit tonight and I seem to have a problem. After wiring everything up I can turn the lights on when the key is not even in the maching, but as soon as I turn on the key the lights go off. I feel I have everything wired up like the instructions describes. I might need some more help. I can provide pictures if needed. I actually need better installation pictures because the instructions sent with the light kit is just a poor photo copy.

By the way mu super z is a 2001 model.

You have something hooked up wrong, let me look for the instructions in the morning and see what we can do here.

I figured something is wrong but I just couldn't figure it out. I tried a few different combinations and either it worked the way it is now or it didn't work at all. I can take some pictures of what I have also if that would help.

Had this happen to one of my dealers. We switched around some wires and everything works fine. Double check all your wires--swap left and right--and you may be surprised....
