when it sits for a while hard to start,takes starting fluid to get going.does fine after that. i've changed everything,think it might be carb.how do i clean it?



any inf. would be apprec.::confused:

Are you mechanical, are you comfortable removing the Carburetor, and taking it apart ? It is most probable that a dirty Carb. is the trouble. The jets inside are blocked. when you try to start it there is little vacuum to draw fuel through the jets, but if you use starting fluid the RPMs get high creating more vacuum, enough to suck the fuel through the jets. This can not be cleaned without taking the Carburetor off and taking it apart for a thorough cleaning.

I need to know if you are comfortable with this.
