pto will not run engine dies when i take the break off

i have a exmark lazer z with an ch25s kohlar , ok so my problem is i start the engine with the break on and it starts , im in the seat and let off the break it will die . i have jumped the wires to the break switch 2 wires need to be conected and 2 wires not conected so i have conected all 4 i n the side by side to be on witch makes it to be break on and break off and the mower will goand move , so i wanted to turn the pto on the engine will die ? so my ? is why does the engine die when i take the break off all i did was put new rings on it

Check your seat switch.

Lazer will run without you being on the seat. If while not seated you engage pto or let off break the engine will die as a safety. Jump the seat switch and see what happens.

If its not your seat switch you are probably needing a time delay module. You can take the wires off the delay module and hook them together. Everything will work fine. The only problem is if you are on bumpy ground the engine might miss. If that takes care of the issue get your self a new module
