Scag Hydro oil 20w50

Changing the hydro in my tiger cub and want to run a full synthetic oil 20w50 but can only find a syn blend. What do you run and where do you get it.

Is that the recommended wieght for that oil ?

Yep the 20w50 is the recommended. I just use regular Valvoline.

I can't say about your machine, but Toro has a service bulletin about being careful with synthetic oil for hydraulic system use, there is a certain type that can cause seal damage, due to chemical incompatibility. I'm not going to say what you can and can not use I'm just saying be cautious with using non recommended lubricants. If it were me I would check with the manufacturer, before I used anything that was not specifically recommended in the owners manual.
