I have a 15 hp kawi on one of my walkbehinds. Had the governoor replaced. They told me it needed a new carb as well,so I replaced that. The mower still doesnt run right. It doesnt rev up to full rpm and when it hit heavy grass the rpms drop right down. Is this possibly just an adjustment on the governor? I'm lost! Help Please!

Let the people who worked on the governor know, could need adjustment.

They say it does not need adjustment

I would take it back and tell them that it is not fixed correctly or was not done right.

The amount of money you must have paid for that work, I would take it over there and show them smething is wrong, don't be snowed.

Perhaps static Governor adjustment? have them mow with it, then they can tell you that there is no problem. Find out what the compression is in both cylinders.

Just re-adjust the governor. It's very easy. If you don't know how - do a search here. There's a page/thread with instructions and pics.
