Mower selection

I stumbled upon your site and I need to ask the experts a question. I have a steep hill that makes up my backyard (only a .25 acre lot but the hill is a 30% grade). what type of mower would be best (front or rear self-propelled)? I know it's only a small plot so I need to keep it simple.

Welcome to the site..............Im no means an expert, but i only buy mowers with rear wheel drive. the front wheel drive ones are not for hillsides because they dont have enough weight over the front wheels. With the rear drive wheels you can push down on the handle to give some added traction if that makes sense. Just my opinion.
