So I am on here to try and find a place to get some mulch at whole sale prices. I am sick and tired of trying to get some mulch at a decent price. I am getting charged 30. dollars a yard for double shreaded dyed mulch. I have got the space to store the muulch that is not a problem. I am just looking to try to find a place to get some mulch at a reasonable price that way i can A make a bigger profit, or B pass the savings onto the customer. Because when I show them the total alot of times they kind of get turned off. And I am losing the buisness to the other companies around here. I an located in sout east wisconsin I dont know if there are any places that ar even in the state. any information woudl be helpful. The saw mills that I have talked to say that they don't offer it. I just don't know anymore.

Do you have a contractor's license? Most wholesalers wont' sell to you if you don't.
If you do, call your local extension agency and call the wholesale nurseries and ask them where they're buying it.
having room to store it is a big plus, but to get a good price you'll have to buy it by the trailer load.

A+ mulch they deliver to IN, IL, and OH they are 14.00 per yard on there bark hardwood and 20.00 on there colored mulch. They do deliver other places you would have to call them to find out how far out they go. These price are there base prices they sell cheaper to bigger accounts. You can reach Jeff at 3174125486 or Trent at 3177367113

I thank you all very much for your help in trying to find this out. I callled the lesco dealer and they are charging 21 dollars a yard with a minimum of 90 yards bought at a time. does that sound like to going rate for whole sale mulch or is there another place to get it that has good quality mulch at reasonable prices I reall don't think that there are any mills in the area that are willing to deliver or at least any that I have seen. So if you are able to get me a little more infomation on this it would be wonderful. thank you

Where ya at in S.E. WI. Try "Arbor Images" in Burlington. They're probably in the book under tree services. They have mountains of mulch that they make themselves and offer several different quality levels.

I had tried arobor images but the lady that I had talked to stated "that they do not sell whole sale" The price that they do offer is a little cheaper than my suppllier but the problem is the drive to go and get it. Or the price that they charge to get it delivered. I do thank you for the help but unfotunatly they were still to high. If any one has any other information for me that would be wonderful.

I am located in Kenosha, WI I am looking to buy about 50 yards of brown, yellow and 100yards of red. That is right now I am pretty sure that I am going to need to get more than that but right now that is what I have planned for buisness that I have got the contract signed for the install. So I am looking to get it from a distributer I would prefer not to have to store it but I do have the room if that is the case. Thank you

The lumber yards are their suppliers. I called a half dozen of them looking for the best price for the best product and all of them were cooperative and wanted to do business. I set up a new account, billed it, and made enough in the first month to easily cover the cost ($1,200) and still have a good bit left over, I'd say 45-50 yards.

I had tried to call the lumber yards and the saw mills around here. (Well Kind of around here. Up in the northern part of wisconsin) They are requring me to buy at least 150 yards of mulch to get it delivered to were I am from. The price that I was quoted was a good price. But I don't know if I am going to use all of that this season. I don't want to have to hold onto it for the whole season until next I know that holding mulch that long it starts to deteriorate and get moldy which would end up being no good next season. Thank you for the idea though. The other thing that is holding me back on that is it has to be 150 yards of just the one color they will not mix.
