I have cattails growing in parts of hayfield....any weed control available that
won't damage the hay or harmful to cattle?

Can't have both. The only thing I know of that will kill cattails and is legal for use in a hayfield is ag label Glyphosate.

I wouldn't think hay would grow where cattails do. Here cattails require standing water most of the year. Am I wrong about this?
