I love the cut quality of the grasshopper. It's actually in the shop right now because it had bad gas in it from sitting at the dealer over winter, other then that i love it.

I might actually get rid of the vac. I didnt get to use it as much as I thought I would last year. I usually use it to vac up grass clippings on driveways and sidewalks instead of blowing it back into the yard

That seems like it would be a lot of extra work...unless you are leaving mounds of grass on the walkways and drives! i used to have one and it worked well for when i was 13 years old and was only keeping up with 4-5 lawns in a fall season, but when your doing this commercially it takes a long time and that bag fills up fast! Perfect for a homeowner who can keep up with their leaves on a weekly basis!

Nice setup though! looks very efficient!

seems like it would be much easier to just blow the grass back into the lawn

It is, but I have one yard that i cut biweekly and it's awfully thick and I dont want huge piles of grass in the yard so I just suck it up with the vac every now and then. I think I've probably only put an hour on the vacuum and it would make a homeowner or someone just starting with a few small leaf jobs a good machine.

Here is one of the commercial properties I take care of. I have to push mow the big hill in front (2nd pic). I tried to ztr it the 1st time and I was terrified the whole time so now it's a simple push mow.

Here is some pics of another account I took care of this evening. When I took the pic I hadnt trimmed or edged yet. It was getting dark and I wanted a few decent pics of the yard before all the light was off of it. Its not my best looking account but it has potential. I just took this account over today. They have irrigation but havent been running it for some reason. I told them they really need to because its really dry. There was dust flying all over the place while I was mowing.

How do you like the echo trimmer? I cant stand echo trimmers cause the shield is not even close to big enough.. stihl is my number 1 choice.

I like Echo and Stihl. I have one of each. The Echo is the SRM230 and I just bought a Stihl FS90 2 1/2 weeks ago. You are right on the gaurd being small on the Echo but it doesnt bother me too much. I feel it's easier to edge with smaller gaurd of the Echo. The Echo head seems to sit more level then the Stihl, I don't really know why but it seems that I have to lean down with the Stihl to get a level cut out of it. I moved the handle forward and back and neither seemed to help. Reloading the head on the Echo is much quicker also. I will get used to the Stihl eventually but for now I have to take my time to make sure I dont scalp anything. I can sprint around yards with the Echo and never worry about messing anything up. As far as power, the Stihl beats the Echo hands down. I feel that I could cut anything with the Stihl.

Here is another foreclosure property before and after. This one was pretty ruff. There were weeds in the back that were atleast 8ft tall (LAST PIC).

Pics look great. Nice work!! Do you have a WB mower like a 36in?? Would that be easyer for the commercial with the hill?? Just an idea.

I bet it would be alot easier with a 36walk but thats the only property I would need it for. If I end up with a few more accts I could use a 36walk on I will definately invest in one. Id just hate to buy one for just this one hill that only takes a few minutes with the 21push.

Here is some pics of a low budget landscape job that I did for a friend that flips houses. We did alot of cleanup on this property. looked like it hadnt been taken care of in 10+ years. I dont have any before and after pics but I will get a pic of the dumpster we rented to put all the trimmings and debris in.

More after pics of the last house. The last two are the backyard. All the spots along the fence with no grass are areas were we cleaned the fence line of vines and bushes that were growing all over it.

Just some quick landscaping I did at the house we just moved into. Its a rental so I didnt want to spend much or invest alot of time. Just wanted to spruce the place up a bit. Now im waiting on mulch to dry up so I can go pick some up.
