I am looking to buy a new grapple for my Bobcat A300, I have been looking at the 78" industial fork grapple with 8 tines from Bobcat, but am wondering if a grapple bucket would be better? I would like to have a grapple to go along with my dirt buckets, so any advice or thoughts on tines versus bucket for all around general use would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

I have a Quick Attach grapple(Quick Claw) and am happy with it. I would like to get another grapple with the tines, I think it would be better for loading sometimes.

It is all in what u are dong with it we have one with tines. There are times when i wish i had the other one but, if u are dealing with brush it is the only way to go.

I have been happy with both of these buckets. The Saber bucket is a very well built bucket. I cleared heavily timbered ground and handled all the logs with this bucket, some of these trees were 50' and the bucket had enough grip to handle these long tree. I was impressed.

The Virinig bucket is also well built. If I only could have one it would be the Virnig just because the solid bucket makes it more useful on different types of jobs. The Saber bucket is pretty much just a clearing bucket for me.

Try www.Solesbees.com. I have been very happy with mine. Very ruggedly built and priced resonably. Others on here have the same one. They do sell both styles. Mine has an open bottom with approx. 6''-8'' openings. I chose that design because it was going to be used for firewood and brush. The ends curve up,some don't like that but I think it works fine. I will also say that once I ordered it I had it in 2-3 days. I though that was pretty good seeing that they are in Georgia and I'm in R.I. No matter which way you go Solesbees is worth a look. If you want I can take some detailed photos of it for you.

I have owned two Bobcat industrial grapple with tines in 12 years. Love them. I use the 66" grapple on 863's through s330's. I like the tines but there are times when a bucket grapple would be nice (concrete demo).

I also have the quick attach grapple (2 actually) and love them. I can use it as a root rake as well to extract a lot of crap out of the ground. Once and awhile I wish i had a bocket to sift out debris, but I have been more than happy with the grapple.
