I finally got around to taking some pics of some of the equipment. I just bought the KM110R yesterday with the adjustable hedge trimmer, that is the newest "toy" for the year. The other equipment is a Bob-Cat zt218 52" deck, FS100RX and a BR340. Then there is my truck which is a '98 GMC 2500 diesel.

The utility bed is awesome. I like to consider it the "chick magnet" (just not good enough to get me a date to prom). It actually makes my truck stand out so that all the cops I work with all know my truck, so they just wave, makes me feel reasured that I won't get tickets.

i think calling it a chick magnet is far fetcher considering ur situation lol. What do kids in ur school think about it? do they like it, or give u crap about it?

Most of my friends didn't believe me when I said I would be driving it to school. I still get so much crap about having the box and driving it to school. Most of the other LCO's in my area like the box and wish they had one but most of my friends at school think its "dorky".

I just got it yesterday and have only trimmed some of my hedges at my house, so nothing major yet. It should see some pretty good work this year.

I feel the same way sometimes about my truck. Its the only one in town with that style rims, good shape, 60"lightbar and all the other good "work truck" stuff. I went past the PD doing 40 in a 25 one day not even paying attention to my speed, cops just waved at me lol. I don't think its right to use your "powers" though (not trying to say you do). But the way I look at it is if I get pulled over for something someone else would get a ticket for, I deserve that ticket too. I'm in good with the POlice and know they would never write me but I try to not abuse the luckyness lol. Not trying to start any wars here lol

Now lets say i get pulled over for speed and i show the cop my badge to show him im a FF, well now, that is abusing power.

Exactly, your ass is gone if you even try it here in El Dorado. But I mean I try not to go around breaking the laws all the time knowing I won't get stopped. Get my drift?

Get my drift?Unfortnately, most of your law enforcement workers will let off-duty FF's and police officers go w/o any warning. I haven't been pulled over YET. So we'll see if the badge works.

I would really love to get a bigger blower but this one does fine. About 6 years ago my old stihl dealer had a customer appreciation day and they were raffleing off a leaf blower. Well I put in for it and won. So instead of taking the handheld one I really won, I just paid the difference for the backpack one. I think It was like a $75 difference.

It is definately a very nice bagging system. I like the low profile of it, makes it a lot easier to see behind me. I will be transfering it to my dixie chopper when a buy it.

They won't think its dorky when you run a full sized operation and have your own house while they still live off their parents .....Who would be the dorky one then?....they will be askin you if you want your lunch supersized
