Hello all,
I had a small irrigation business (just me and the truck) a number of years ago here in florida that was structured as a sole proprietorship. I am in the process of going back into business and it looks like the sole proprietorship designation is no longer an option, so its either an LLC or an S corporation. Anyone here from florida and can shed any info on your situation? Did you consult a lawyer or cpa?

When I did the sp thing,I did all paperwork and legwork myself but with the s corp. or the llc, it looks like taxes could be a problem if I don`t choose the right entity. BTW its just me and the truck again.

thanx for any info!

either one is ok. I would go with a inc just because it is easier to have a partner and break down employees. Use a cpa and save your self the head ache. I think a inc has the ability to grow more.
