O-k you take over a commercial property and the once round boxwood's, Indian hawthorns etc. have become a somewhat shaped mass looking pretty sad. What is your plan? Cut them way back and deal with the resulting messy look or what is your suggestions? I know we have all been there. Eaglescout

Sell them a new design.

Ask them what they would like to do and if they want some idea's take the advice from above. You could reshape them and they will come back but boxwood are slow growing plants and it will take time so if you do make sure you take time to explain that to your customer. That is also a good time to sell them on the idea for something new.
