how do I check the transmission fluid?

I have a snapper model RZT18580BVE.

How do I check the transmission fluid? I see the line where you can add the fluid but there is no dipstick or anything...

yes...may sound like a dumb question..but a great answer could keep me from breaking my ztr.

Are you talking about your hydro fluid? you shouldn't have to add any. If you do ever do anything with that stuff, be careful. Make sure everything is clean around it before you eve open it...and I mean CLEAN. That is an area that should be messed with at least as possible.
As far as capacity, I can't say for the Snapper. Many manufacturers have instructions right on the tank saying something like fill to x inches below top of tank.
Main thing is...like I say,...be careful around that area not to get ANY dirt or anything in there. It can end up costing you BIG bucks.
