Here are 3 of the 8 yards I mowed today. Sorry the pics aren't that great--I keep telling myself I need to get a better digital camera. But until then, here is some of my work.

The pictures are actually from 4 different yards, but yes, the tall one was almost completely that tall. And I mowed it 2 weeks ago...yes, it was that tall then, too. Fast growing stuff, and hasn't had any fert or anything. Just sun and rain.

Here's a couple more shots from that one. The front yard stripes really well. Sunlight wasn't working with me when I took the pic, but it was pretty.

STIHL GUY, I did see a huge black snake hiding out in the high grass.

Woods Mow-N-Machine MZ3361G. 61" cut, 33hp Generac. Same mower as a Bobcat Predator Pro.

That Generac is the difference in what keeps the blade tip speed at full operating rpms. That mower is a horse with the 33 Generac and most people don't realize that machine will cut at 13.5 mph and never miss a beat.

If you think that is big grass, wait until I take pictures of what we are going to put that mower in tomorrow, we are going to cut hay with it, and I am not exaggerating.

I won't be like everyone else and say...Wow, that's some long grass.

How do ya like the woods?..Looks like you have to sit real high on it.

I love it, bladescape. I don't feel like I'm sitting high on it. I know the seat is about 3 inches higher than puppypaws' Hustler, but it rides good. I feel like it is a great value of a mower--cut quality, ride, power, speed, handling, and price.

It is a Bobcat Predator Pro bolt for bolt. The 33 Generac is the amazing feature, it will feel more powerful and responsive than the 37 Kawasaki that is also used on the PP, at about 60% of the fuel usage. They have taken the 33 Generac out of the Bobcat lineup because people did not know the engine or the name, just was not a good seller for them. My dealer and I have both discussed this and think the Generac is a wonderful engine from his knowledge with sells and my experience of operating one. The engine would crank as well as my fuel injected engine, and I have never seen any make engine with a carburetor crank like my efi.

The Generac is suppose to be set at the factory for 3800 rpms. I did not know why that particular engine felt so strong and fast compared to the 37 Kawasaki. This is what "Tomberlawn' found through some investigation. When you turn an engine up 200 rpms it makes a great deal of difference, from 12.4 mph with the Kawi, to 13.5 with the Generac, this holds the blade tip speed up better in tough places the 37 may want to fall slightly behind.

Looks very good Tomberlawn, I think that you got a great value with that mower. As far as the Generac engines go, I can't say that the 33 Generac engine is more powerful or a better engine than the Kawasaki but I think that the HP is underrated compared to a Kohler, Vanguard or Kawasaki Big Block. I know that mine starts easily and consistently and uses virtually no oil, maybe 2-3 oz in 50 hrs. I don't want to get a debate started on this but at least it is an American made engine and an American company.
