Guys, I stumbled on to this site by mistake, but I am impressed with the professional tone of the discussions that are going on in the forums, so I decided to throw this out and see if you guys can help.

Me and my wife are busy physicians who bought our first house last fall. It is a small sub-urban townhouse end-unit with a small lawn in the front, side and back of the house. There are a couple of trees and bushes and small plants. Neither one of us has had ANY experience taking care of a lawn or garden, and we have had many house plants that have passed on due to our inability to take care of vegetable life.

Our lawn is looking a little sad/overgrown and some of our trees are looking a little sickly. I want to look for some professional help, but we are not sure where to start. We live in Lutherville, Maryland. Small sub-urb north of Baltimore, MD. Any help would be very much appreciated.
