Just remember the state will hold you responsible if the sub contractor doesn't have "worker comp." even if he lies and said he does. The fine is $1,000 and $100 a day for every day they worked without insurance.

I've always liked subbing. No better way to make money than do paperwork.

I always get a certificate of insurance and make sure all the coverages are right.
