Mowing at my customer's house..I do his and 2 others on the block.
Been there about 30 minutes and go in my cab for something..notice a message on my phone, from this customer's cell.
I call him and he says, while youre there can you also.. (request for additional trimming).
Oh I didnt see your car, are you home? No, he says, Im watching you on my video monitor at my work computer.

I know this person and he is the techie supreme so I have no doubt that there are several cameras pointing at his yard...

You just never know!

We have a few customers that have cameras, they always know whats going on. The good side is that they always see that me and the guys have been there, done our job, and done it right, with no shananigans. I had one customers alert me to the fact that yes we go out of town and we monitor the house with cameras, Keeps everything going smoothly....welcome to 2009. We now have cameras at the house, and a dog, and a gun, and a phone.

Nowadays, you never know who is watching you from where. Some cameras are visiable, while I know of one of my customers that has them hidden.

You don't even need a computer to view as you can use an iphone. Gee just what I want to be doing while I'm sitting in my cube at work is looking at the place I wish I was (home). No wonder everybody is so paraniod these days!

Kinda scary... For the guys, you best look a lot closer these days before ducking behind the bushes to pee! Next thing you know your wang is on the internet on some crazy lawn guy peeing fetish website!

I have one house I mow at that the neghibors house sprouted cameras all over. I think there's like 4 just in front. It's kinda crazy. This is in a pretty nice area and all the houses are fairly close. I always kinda smile for the cameras... They are the covered type, so you can't tell what direction they are pointed. I think it would be a huge invasion of privacy if someones cameras were able to view/record over their property line, ie. the neghibors house, lawn, or in the windows...
