I need to get my 3500 dump inspected and cannot find any information about the alarm they require that notifies operator when the dump bed is raised.

It is required as of this year... the new commercial inspection for over 10,000 gvw. http://www.mass.gov/rmv/inspect/commercial_regs.pdf

I have searched the sight relentlessly and can find nothing regarding this topic.

Any others in my situation? Where can i buy one of these?

go to any truck parts place and they will have the stuff you need, been required on big dumps for years. all you need is some wire a "normaly open" switch and a buzzer. not a real big deal

never heard of such a thing in PA

its federal DOT regs. about 2 years ago a rolloff driver left his hoist up and hit a bridge and got killed. company he worked for almost went out of biz over this because the truck did not have an operable hoist up alarm, this was a PA company.
