Attempting to post-control about 1/4 acre infested with a particular weed identified as: Coronopus didymus, common name as: Swinecress.
Have two problems, namely:
1. I have identified two herbicides labeled for control, only one has moderate post - known as Ametryn; used to be marketed by Syngenta under the name Evik.
2. I cannot find a supplier for this herbicide so any ideas are welcome.
Telephone numbers to suppliers or other contact info would be appreciated.

Here are a couple of sites that may help you in your quest for control
I do not, nor have any experience with this weed as of yet here in the upper delta of arkansas.
Best of luck!

According to this link, http://www.smallgrains.ncsu.edu/Guide/Chapter14.html swinecress is controllable with 2,4-D. Depends on where you want to control swinecress. I would treat it like any other weed species of mustard. BTW, Evik(ametryn) is restricted to use in corn, pineapple and sugarcane. It used to have a label for noncrop weed control in the 1990's, but that is no longer allowed because ametryn can be a ground water contaminant like atrazine.

Thanks for the replies. 2,4-D has already been applied with essentially no control on the Swinecress.
Rising daytime temps are causing issues with volatility, hence my quest for a different herbicide.

Your next option is metsulfuron. I use this from June to December, here in Hawaii. It gets up to 90+ with high humidity here in those months. Most broadleaf weeds, even the ones resistant to 2,4-D are controlled by metsulfuron. Add 1 oz Quicksilver + a good MSO surfactant and that is a mix that drops weeds in about 2-3 days. Metsulfuron by itself will take up to 3 weeks to show any effect.

Thanks again - still checking for label(s) and use here in Texas but I can do that.
