Some people are really going to complain about the reduced tail swing, look at the M32, almost a standard tail swing, no zero anymore.
I really want to try the M60 out though.

The 35 has 1000lbs less breakout force than my KX91-3 of the same weight class !
I was going to comment on the advertisement at the top of the Website. Something about class leading performance or something like that. That certainly is not true based on the specs they provide. My 153 makes about the same bucket breakout as the BC 80 sized machine except my machines weighs 5K less. The same could be said for the CAT 305C CR which specs close with the 153.
I did like the instrument panel. and the machine looks good in general.

Typical Bobcat and their horrible website. I tried to open the Worksaver PDF and it is set to open the Bobcatalog, not the Spring issue. On edit, I am looking at it normally and one of the articles is on EA Quinn who I am pretty sure is a member here.

Doesnt your 153 have a breakout of 11,000 Lbs?.. My cat 305c cr has a bucket break out of 11,400. That e80 bobcat has 12,300 bucket break out i think it said.

why are there 2 pilot controls on one side?

the farthest one is for the blade, you can see in one view of the cab there is a solid handle there and then in the next view there is that second joystick, so I'd assume the joystick is for the angle blade and of course the solid handle is for the typical blade.

The E80 is a fair bit bigger than the Cat 305C CR...

It does, just over 11K but very comparable for a machine that gives up 5K in weight to the BC. The TB 180 which is a direct comparision to the BC has over 16K in breakout.

I think these improvements are good for the industry in general. As I've said before, even if you're not a fan of a particular brand releasing new models and features, it won't be long before the rest of the field one-ups them. While I would not own a Bobcat excavator unless some serious changes are made in the control systems, which they may have done with this series, they might be just the ticket for someone else.

I was getting 5 copies at a time for a while. I finally sent them an email. I told them I enjoy reading the magazine. I find it interesting to see what guys are doing with their machines. However 5 is more than I need. I am waiting to see Mrsops featured in the mag.

My dad was featured in a Cat publication a few years back, pretty cool. Cat gave us the cover, which had my dad and the 216 on it, and the entire in page sequence framed up.
Worksaver is interesting, it's cool to see how companies operate across the US. I never read it for the Bobcat info, just for the company profiles they feature.

When we bought the cat 305 last year my local cat dealer did the same thing they gave us the whole front page with me my father and they actually put my container truck in the paper. It was very nice, it had something to do with us purchasing are first piece of caterpillar equipment
