Power Head Question

I currently have an old echo Pas- 260 that I would like to replace with a Shindaiwa M242. Will my old echo attachments fit the Shindy? Also is the power difference noticeable? The echo is 25.4cc and the Shindy is 23.9cc.
Any input would be appreciated

Man this is an old thread but the answer is no. The shindy uses a coupler where the locking pin is on the top of theshaft where as echo has the pin on the side.
